How can you depend on Elevate during the COVID-19 Pandemic?
First, let us say we hope you and your loved ones are safe and healthy. These uncertain times have a way of reorganizing priorities. At Elevate, the health of our employees and the communities we serve is taking precedence.
To alleviate any confusion resulting from Colorado’s Stay-at-home Order, we want to assure you that telecommunications services are considered essential businesses. While we have closed our offices and directed all employees to work remotely, our team is putting in long hours as we seek to serve our community with the services you need at this time.
As the threat of COVID-19 continues to impact our local citizens and economies, we want you to know how you can count on us:
We will not shut off your internet: Until further notice, Elevate will not disconnect internet service to any customer who is unable to pay their bill. This will remain in effect until further notice or until the State of Emergency has passed.
We are increasing your speed: To support the increased bandwidth needs of homebound consumers, Elevate has upgraded all residential accounts to its fastest speed, 1,000 Mbps (1 Gig), free of charge. This upgrade is in effect until May 18, 2020, and will be reassessed at that time if the State of Emergency is still in place. Consumers will not be charged for this upgrade, and they will automatically return to their regular speed when the threat has passed.
If you need help, we can offer it: Elevate has assistance options for consumers who are struggling to pay their bill. Eligible consumers can receive monthly assistance to help them continue paying a portion of their bill. These options will also remain in place until the State of Emergency has passed. We will get your student connected: With all local schools suspending class, Elevate is offering to connect homes in which students are living for free. In areas where Elevate service is available, Elevate is waiving the installation fee and the cost of the first two months of internet service for homes with students.
