73 Miles Down. 22 Miles to Go.
Elevate brings Fiber Internet to Two more Montrose neighborhoods.

FEBRUARY 12, 2021, MONTROSE, CO – Since embarking on its aggressive construction schedule one year ago, Elevate has constructed 73 miles of new fiber-optic lines within the City of Montrose, bringing with it ultra-fast and reliable internet service. And now, with the recent addition of two new areas, South Townsend Subzone and East Main Subzone, just 22 miles remain before 97% of City residents and business owners have access to 1 Gig fiber internet from Elevate.

“We’ve made tremendous progress over the last year, building our fiber network and bringing 1 Gig internet to thousands of local homeowners and business owners. With that comes the conveniences we all appreciate, like streaming movies or music without buffering, but it’s also so much more. It has opened the door for opportunities like telecommuting, online education, and virtual medical appointments,” said Jasen Bronec, Elevate President.

In the past year, Elevate has added 10 areas and thousands of homes and businesses to its service footprint, including the following:

  • East Main Subzone
  • South Townsend Subzone
  • Iron Horse Subzone
  • American Village Subzone
  • Brown Ranch Subzone
  • Crawford 57 Grant Zone
  • Chipeta Subzone
  • Northeast Delta Grant Zone
  • West Spring Creek Grant Zone
  • Fairview Grant Zone

Now, just four areas in the City of Montrose construction project remain, North Townsend, 6450 Road, Bear Creek, and West Meadows Subzones. Construction is currently underway in the North Townsend and 6450 Road sub zones, and Elevate expects to begin connecting consumers by next month. Bear Creek and West Meadows Subzones will follow shortly after.

Consumers can find out if their home or business is located in an area where Elevate is available by searching their address at www.elevateinternet.com or calling 844-386-8744. Elevate provides internetTV, and phone for both homes and businesses, with internet speeds starting at 150 Mbps and topping out at 1,000 Mbps (1 Gig).
