Bob Farmer

Bob Farmer serves as Chief Financial Officer at DMEA and its subsidiary, Elevate, bringing a technology-forward perspective to financial leadership. His role reflects the continued evolution of the utility industry—integrating data and operational insight into financial strategy to support sustainable growth, infrastructure investment, and long-term value for members and subscribers.

Bob joined DMEA in 2022 as Chief Information Officer and has served as CFO since 2024. Prior to that, he spent 15 years as a senior manager, including five years with an electric cooperative and 10 years with a municipal organization. He also brings 11 years of experience as an Adjunct Professor. Bob holds a Master of Business Administration from Western Governors University and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Colorado Mountain College. He has completed NRECA’s Management Internship Program and holds the Cooperative Financial Professional Certificate from CFC.
