Mateusz Pena

Mateusz (mă-tōsh) Pena earned his Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from the Colorado School of Mines in 2014 and a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the W.P. Carey School of Business at Arizona State University in 2021. He is a licensed Professional Engineer in the states of Colorado and California.

Mateusz currently serves as Chief Technical Officer at DMEA. He oversees the cooperative’s system design, substations, metering, dispatch, engineering, and power supply, as well as its subsidiary, Elevate. He began his career at DMEA in 2016, and has been part of the executive leadership team since 2023.
