Sarah Abbott

Sarah Abbott is the Chief Administrative Officer & General Counsel at DMEA, where she oversees people, legal, and regulatory responsibilities while guiding how the cooperative communicates internally and externally. Sarah helps ensure DMEA operates responsibly, compliantly, and with appropriate transparency in all relationships.

Prior to joining DMEA, Sarah was a Director at the law firm of Ireland Stapleton Pryor & Pascoe, PC. She currently serves on the Board of Directors of the Montrose Economic Development Corporation. Her previous board experience includes the Vice Chair of the Board of Directors of Montrose Memorial Hospital and as Chair of the Board of Directors of the Montrose Community Foundation. Sarah holds a J.D. from Chicago-Kent College of Law and a Bachelor of Arts in English Literature from Wake Forest University.
