Applications Now Open for 2025 Foundations for the Future Grant

Elevate is now accepting applications for its 2025 Foundations for the Future Grant, which will award $10,000 to a local nonprofit or not-for-profit organization that is using the power of the internet to make legendary things happen in our community.

This year’s focus is on organizations that deliver innovative programs and services powered by internet access—whether that means expanding educational opportunities, improving access to healthcare, connecting people to essential resources, or supporting creativity and collaboration in new ways.

“From telehealth to virtual learning, from livestreamed arts to online food access—our communities are doing amazing things with the internet,” said Kent Blackwell, Chief Administrative Officer of Elevate. “This grant celebrates those efforts and supports organizations building a brighter, more connected future.”

Key application requirements include a clear, measurable impact on our community’s quality of life, incorporating technology or online tools, and bonus points for tech that create a lasting benefit.

The grant is administered through the Montrose Community Foundation. Organizations may apply online through September 1, 2025, at https://app.smarterselect.com/programs/103923.

The 2025 grant recipient will be announced in October.
